Sri Lanka Innovation Index (SLINDEX) and Provincial Innovation Index (P-SLINDEX)

SLINDEX

• • SLINDEX measures the innovativeness using Science and Technology Intervention, without taking into the consideration the Political and Regulatory Environment in line with Global Innovation Index (GII)
    

• • Identifies the level of performance of each parameters in each of Economic, Social and Environmental aspects as a nation and SLINDEX helps to measure and enhance those areas.
    

P-SLINDEX

• • Reflects the innovativeness of each of the Nine (9) provinces in Sri Lanka
    

• • Identifies the level of performance of each parameters in each of Economic, Social and Environmental aspects in the province

• • Identifies the challenges in promoting Innovation in each province

• • Provides baseline data/ information of Provincial Innovation to  the Central Government

• • Tool for decision making in the provincial and local governments

• • Provides data/information to the Sri Lanka Innovation DASHBOARD (SL-IDB ) which is linked to the Global Innovation Index (GII) and Sri Lanka Innovation Index (SLINDEX)
