Eng. Daham Shyamalee is a Chemical and Process Engineer with sound experience in manufacturing, energy utilization and Quality system development. She obtained her bachelor degree Chemical and Process Engineering from University of Moratuwa and Master of Sustainable process development from the same university collaborating with Telemark Univesity, Norway. She started her career as a Quality assurance and Product development manager in 2007 at Plastipak Industrial Textiles Pvt Ltd. There after she changed her career with Open University of Sri Lanka and cooperated with the course-curriculum development of Small scale renewable energy systems. She was the author of course module-Energy savings at community level. Eng. Daham is a National Cleaner Production consultant since 2013. She is currently working as a Project manager at COSTI and is mainly responsible for Science Technology and Innovation intervention in the manufacturing industry in Sri Lanka.
