Deputy Manager

Eng. Bhagya Herath is a Chemical and Process Engineer graduated from University of Moratuwa, in 2010. She completed her Master Degree in Sustainable Process Development from University of Moratuwa in collaborating with Telemark Univesity, Norway in 2016. Moreover she holds a diploma in Bachelor of Information Technology from University of Colombo.

Following her graduation she began her carrier as a Technical Executive at MAS Bodyline Pvt Ltd, Horana. Prior to joining COSTI she served as a Teaching Assistant at Dept. of Chemical & Process Engineering, University of Moratuwa. In addition she consulted for several projects in Renuka Agri Foods and Richlife Dairies in Renuka Group of Companies. 

At COSTI She is mainly involved in projects related to promoting innovation through Intellectual Property based Technology Transfer and Commercialization. Currently she is working as SL project Manager for WIPO Enabling Intellectual Property Environment (EIE) Project and KIPA Appropriate Technology(AT) Development project. she is also responsible for managing Technology Innovation Support Center (TISC) at COSTI .
